• Establish if an extended inverter warranty is available. Partcularly on 3KW solar power systems and above , a solar inverter failure , when out of warranty can be a very expensive solar component to replace. Frankly, many ‘low end’ Chinese manufactured inverters have had a very high failure rate , certainly NOT all , some are excellent . Our advice is ,that for the larger systems , 3KW and above , go for a quality inverter , SMA , Eaton etc .
